Robin Davis was born and raised in Daytona Beach, Florida, where his career began in high school as the bassist for the The Gospel Keys and the Bethune Cookman College Gospel Choir. Robin began on the drums at the age of ten and moved on to the bass guitar at the age of twenty five. Robin showed and early interest in music and his major influences are Earth, Wind & Fire, Sly and the family stone, James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Teddy Pendergrass to name a few. Robin moved to Jacksonville, Florida and played with a variety of local acts such as Total Soul Band, Special formula band and many others. Robin is currently on tour with the Special formula band playing all throughout florida and across the country. Robin has recorded live as well in the studio and is always working on new songs and ideas.
